Trade Services offers a full training and assessment package that allows you to become a qualified Electrician. Unlike most
training centers you will be able complete all of your training with us. You do not need any previous experience to enroll
on this course.
Due to expansion we are also looking to employ successful candidates.
Qualifications to be obtained:
- City & Guilds 2381 17th Edition
- City & Guilds 2377 Portable Appliance Testing
- Trade Services G2 & G3 certificates
Course summary
Week 1
Basic Electrics – no experience with electrical engineering? Let us build your confidence as you learn all you need to
know to give you a solid footing in the electrical trade.
Week 2-3
Domestic Electrical Installation – apply your basic electrical skills to the domestic environment - extend your knowledge
and skills to cover all aspects of electrics within the home.
Week 4
IEE 17th Edition Wiring Regulations – this course offers training in the design of electrical wiring systems to the IEE
Wiring Regulations 17th Edition, for those wishing to enter the Electrical Contracting Industry.
Inspection and Testing of Electrical Installations – learn how to inspect and test both domestic and commercial/industrial
electrical installations.
Week 5, If requested
Portable Appliance Testing (PAT) of electrical equipment – qualify to inspect and test portable appliances in accordance
with L3 City & Guilds 2377 – 01/02.
Further Training: Plumbing and Gas training are also available from Trade Services.
